Urban Development Authority

              The Urban Development Authority is an Authority Constituted by the Government under sub section (1) of Section 13 and sub-section (1) of section 3 of Telangana Urban Areas (Development) Act 1975 (can be downloaded from Downloads>Acts) having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and to contract, and shall by the said name sue and be sued.

             The objects of the Authority shall be to promote and secure the development of all or any of the areas comprised in the development area concerned according to Master plan and for that purpose, the Authority, shall have the power to acquire, by way of purchase or otherwise, hold, manage, plan, develop and mortgage or otherwise dispose of land and other property, to carry out by or on its behalf building, engineering, mining and other operations, to execute works in connection with supply of water, and electricity, disposal of sewerage and control of pollution, other services and amenities such as development of Junctions, Greenery etc., and generally to do anything necessary or expedient for purposes incidental thereto.

SUDA

Siddipet Urban Development Authority (SUDA) constituted vide G.O MS No. 276, Dt: 30-10-2017 by the Government in exercise to the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 13 and sub-section (1) of section 3 of Telangana Urban Areas (Development) act 1975 and declared a “Development Area” for Siddipet Town and its immediate surroundings in Siddipet District comprising of an area of 327.31 Sq.Kms consisting of Siddipet town and (26) adjoining Villages in Siddipet district as shown hereunder.
